The Project:

This major national organisation & Australian “icon” first engaged the services of ACTION Commercial Interiors in 2002 to undertake a major Office Refurbishment project at their Antenna & TV Systems site in the suburb of Riverwood, Sydney. The “brief” called for the conversion of a large existing Warehouse space into an aesthetically appealing yet practical solution for offices to accommodate 80 staff. Since the initial project, ACTION have continued to undertake a range of projects at the various sites in Sydney involving reallocation and redesign of existing office accommodation and involving related trades & services.

SCHENKER (AUSTRALIA) Stinnes Logistics

Schenker is one of the leading international providers of integrated logistics services. We provide support to industry and trade in land operations, in worldwide air and sea freight, and in all the associated logistics services.

The Project:

The Schenker Australian Headquarters is located in the Southern Sydney suburb of Alexandria and comprises a number of buildings including Office/Depot/Warehouse. ACTION Commercial Interiors was first engaged by Schenker in 2003 to undertake the first of a series of projects to improve and upgrade the general condition of the office accommodation, commencing with new carpet throughout/paintworks/custom made joinery and redesign of some areas of existing office layouts. The main Reception called for a “tailored” design for a “secure” area which needed to be both aesthetically appealing in design as well as achieving the desired objective.

The Project:

ACTION Commercial Interiors has undertaken a comprehensive range of office fitout and refurbishment projects for this client over the past 4 years at their North Sydney Headquarters. The scope of works for our most recent project involved the total redesign and construction of the new fitout of offices on both Level 4 and Level 5 and involved the following services:

• Ceiling – pull out ALL existing & supply & install new
• Computer Floor - Supply and install new computer floor to Communications Room to match existing floor.
• Floor Vinyl -Supply and install new floor vinyl
• Electrical – disconnect and relocate a total of 46 existing fluorescent troffer light fittings to suit the new office layout
• Communications- Supply and install a total of 65 quad communications outlets around the general office area

The Project:

Wyeth Pharmaceutical is a research-based, global pharmaceutical company responsible for the discovery and development of some of today's most innovative medicines.

The Australian operation of this global organisation is headquartered in the prestigious Norwest Business Park situated on the outskirts of the Sydney metropolis – due to organizational restructure, our brief called for a redesign of the existing office accommodation floor space and layout across 3 levels to allow for the consolidation and reallocation of department teams – the new design solution created and allowed for a more practical and productive work environment.
